Using the pattern piece as a guide, shape batting (1.5 g) into the head with the 2-needle felt puncher (regular needles).

Shape batting (0.3 g) into the snout (refer to the pattern piece).

Connect head and snout.

Lightly gather batting (0.2 g) and poke into forehead.

Blend beige, light brown and ocher roving in a 5 : 1: 1 ratio and add all over the head and snout with the 3-needle felt puncher (finishing needles).

Add a small amount of the blended roving and poke onto the top of the snout.
